The oldest known race, Human habitation in Dragon's Gate has never been limited to just one area. In fact, most major trading centers and other multi-race cities and towns tend to attract them.
They have risen to governing many such places throughout recorded history. Nonplused at the prospect of bureaucracy, Humans have made some of the best -- and worst -- Guild and Temple Officials. Some other races don't pretend to understand this, but are grateful that someone enjoys it! Most prefer humans for officials than some of the other races that seek appointments. Humans have the widest variety and largest selection of usable items in all of Dragon's Gate. They have no natural enemies, however, there is a legend that warns young Human men from venturing near the lands of the Arachnians during mating season.
No one has ever been able to make anything more of this than an old wives' tale, though no young men have ever returned to dispute the credibility of the story, either.

The most versatile of the races, Humans have no single trait that unites them all. Predisposed with golden voices and charming personalities, they are welcomed in most parts of the world. Humans are strong willed, extremely adaptable and learn easily, so are restricted by neither religion nor profession. This makes up for their pretty average constitution, intelligence, speed, and magickal abilities.
