Forester Class

from the 2004 motion picture King ArthurForesters are roamers of the woodlands, trained in the arts of wilderness survival, scouting, and protection. A forester is an outdoorsman and is often looked down upon by ignorant city folk as a free-booter and a uncivilized off. However, the forester has many skills unique to surviving and thriving in a forest alone. Foresters of sufficient skill are capable of capturing and taming a pet. They fight fairly well, excelling in the use of a bow.

They also have a limited use of magickal spells as they draw power from the land and forest they live in. Forester are also adept at searching an area for anything unusual, especially the tracks of creatures or beings that have recently passed by. There are few restrictions placed upon the forester in regards to the use of armor. However, most foresters avoid heavy armor, as it not only is very cumbersome and unwieldy when in the woods, it also reduces the effectiveness of some skills.

Most foresters are skilled to some degree with the bow, and generally this is the favored weapon of members of this class. Foresters in general tend to avoid the busy, stressful city life, preferring the woods and natural lands about that are untamed. As a general rule, foresters tend to be loners, or socialize in small groups.

Travel out the west gate of Spur and search for a hut in the Oak Woods. Enter and then type "train list all".

Characteristic scores beneficial to a Forester adventurer

  • Perception: Useful for any Forester for finding tracks or searching through the Forest for hidden pathways.

  • Dexterity/Agility: Dexterity is especially useful in your ability to use various weapon types, as well as for the skinning of animals. Agility is useful for the Forester’s ability to dodge in and out of the Forest and be difficult to hit with melee related attacks.

  • Constitution: Helpful in providing the Forester with the health they require to live a long and healthy life!

  • Alignment: Orderly

    Special Abilities

    Skinning is the knowledge of how to remove the body parts from an animal without significantly damaging them.

    Missile Weapons
    Missile Weapons represents training with and knowledge of how to use "launcher" weapons. Such weapons include bows, crossbows, and slings.

    Foresters have limited access to Magickal Abilities.
